Yeah a young male, only 4" or so, can get as big as 18-20". The biggest of the Midas family.

Just the one ..on the look out for a female in a few months. Have alota big aggressive central and south Americans just now. So my tank count is mounting up lol. Really gota stop looking. yep

Stunning tank Paul. Those argentea can be headbangers . The butti i had was well able for him though .

Yeah no worries on a butti looking after him self, can be ruthless at times. That argentea is a bit of a bully ,was ruling the roost for a while, but the la ceiba has just dethroned him lol. Getting separated shortly.

Yeah really like the la ceiba Paul. I moved on the argentea to a mate with 1200l and he had every fish stuck in one corner.

I wouldn't doubt it, ..just now moved mine, la ceiba near put him out if the tank, water everywhere lol. hes rooming with a umbee until tomorrow, divider up and hopefully it holds. eyes

That would be some scrap if they got in together axechase . Do you know if your argentea is male or female it would be great to breed some of them.
