Food options

I have a few microworm cultures left over from feeding cichlid fry and was going to bin them when i thought would it be possible to feed small amounts into the reef tank every now and then ? I know they are to small for most if not all fish but would it be of any benifit to what ever coral or anything on the rock.

I have not use these before. Do you have any fishes yet? The tiny creatures will devour everything for sure but care you don't put in too much food or it might cause a nitrate spike.

We do have a fish in the tank as it came with the tank and we were told it would be dead within a week which made me so determined to keep this fish alive. So our powder blue tang is looking amazing, its getting the right food which it was'nt before, its colours have got so much brighter. So we now plan on getting a bigger tank going to suit this fish even though they are very prone to white spot and extremely sensitive.
But back to the micro worms, we gave the tank some and they went down a treat, the spaghetti worms went daft for them and the mushrooms seemed to cup themselves as if to funnel the micro worms down toward themselves. Theres a neon green anemone stuck to the glass and i target fed it and it seemed to enjoy the feed. So all in all micro worms were enjoyed by all, or so it seemed.

Thats good news. Yeah powder blue are notorious for white spot alright. What are the nitrates at the moment? Im thinking it should be ok as the powder blue has been in there one month now right?

The powder blue really needs algae and seaweed dipped in garlic first few hours to enhance its immune system to white spot.

The powder blue gets green and red algea and seaweed but he now will eat pretty much anything you throw at him.
