How it managed to eat one of those fry is beyond me. It'll be well fattened up if it stays in that tank till next week laugh

It was rather worrying for a while cos it looked as if it was stuck, then every now and then it would spit it out and suck it in again. It was one of the smaller of the fry it ate but its not that much smaller than the ones you see in the pic with it

i have a couple of occelaris pbass bout 12",couple of months ago tried putting a couple of 5"-6" temensis pbass in with them.they were in abont 10 seconds and the occells were having a go at them.netted them out quick ,couple months of power feeding for the tems and they are all in a single tank ,one big family of pbass

Sorry Alistair, I apologise on their behalf eyes

They had one in seahorse aquariums, a little 2 inch guy that they didn't know was left over in a tank. They added 100 white cloud mountain minnows.

Noticed them disappearing over the next few days but figured other members of staff were selling them. Turned out the little peacock bass made an appearance after it had eaten the final WCMM grin

They are little monsters. I am really looking forward to getting these little guys, I think I'm going to have to give them a tank of their own based on their current appetites..

no adults Lee yet,they probably need to get 18"-24" before showing full colour,but shouldnt be long ,growing real fast at the mo,they have a great taste for fresh frozen anchovys at the moment grin

Dont worry Patrick it save us bein stuck with a sh1t load of loiselli with nowhere to put them. They'll not be the easiest to get rid off lol
