rtc and pacu of on holidays

took the smaller rtc and 1 pacu down to aquatic village,250 liters in the back of the van ,aswell i didnt crash might have drowned
there were plenty of interesting cichlids barbs and oddballs,alot of species i had never seen before,had a great day.

class pics, thanks for sharing. That is some red tail cat you have, and love the Pacu aswell, was jaw dopped when i saw them in London Zoo they where near 2 foot, looked amazing. Are you passing them on cause of their size? Im sure youll miss them.

just took one rtc down to aquatic village ,keeping the bigger one.they never got on to well together,and thinned out the pacus,took one down keeping 2 .tanks ready for a couple of new inhabitants .the van sure felt a bit nippier coming home

It was a great laugh seeing Ian getting soaked from head to foot by the pacu.

Had to admire your bravery too Brian, you're probably the ony person I know that reacts to a 15 foot escaped python by picking it up. I was ready to run I did rescue those two escaped fish though

Looked like you were doing well picking up lots of nice fish, AV is a great spot for oddballs. What fish did you end up bringing home?

ended up with1 pangasius gigas,1 we aligator gar(at last)and 3 of the we waterfall carp(neolissocheilus stracheyi),these were feeding about 5 minutes outa the bag,hope the other 2 are as oblidging.
there was a great selection of oddballs,great day

Nice rtc mate , would have liked to see it in your tank , but there is still a chance I can your bigger one still . Some weight in that big one in the video any wonder the net broke .

The RTC soaked Ian but that was nothing compared to the pacu, he must have sent a hundred litres of water over him. Brilliant. Stopped him talking crap for a while too which was even better

Fantastic to see AV stocking lots of unusual fish again, always something weird in stock and more than likely something weird going on too...

seen them today, what i wouldn't do to bring them home just a pity the OH said they weren't going in the bath
