Wild Crenicichla sp
I bought two wild Johanna and two wild Crenicichla lenticulata today in Fins Fur and Feathers. A big thanks to Gavin and Sean for
keeping them for so long and giving me such a great deal on them. AFAIK Lenticulata have never been in Ireland before.
The pH in my tank is roughly around the 7 - 7.2 mark and medium hardness.
I was wondering if they will struggle in these conditions. I had a pair of Saxatillis and they did fine. I had to move them on in case they
got eaten by the new recruits.
There is also an adult Argentea and a small Butterkoferi in the tank. All on close watch.. Would slightly lowering the pH with peat
effect the Argentea. It will be very gradual and slow.
The reason for the odd mix is that I have kept Bio topes or close enough to bio topes for years and this is just for viewing.
Should I leave them alone to see how they get on.
PS. The tank is 6x2x2 with a 4`sump.

Put a wee post and pic up about them if it's the right fish
I know nothing about them, but they look nice if it's them

Its looking good.
Be nice to be the first to keep and breed the Lenticulata in Ireland.
On the Johanno.
One is definitely female so fingers crossed the other is male.
