Most shrimp are small and the usual rule is that most fish will swallow them if they fit in. Best to stick with a an all shrimp setup i think. There are bigger shrimp on the market such as the bamboo shrimp, vampire shrimp and the red clawed shrimp that grow up to 2 inches. Do yer research and come back with yer decision. Plenty of stunnin dwarf shrimp out there and dont need a huge tank. Another reason to get a new small tank goin. Here are some to wet yer appetite.

I kept shrimps in my tropical tank which had a bn and had no issues before I went to malawis. It was the malawis that finished off the shrimp not the bn

I had glass shrimp . Better to go for something more colourful as it was hard to see them.
