picked up 3 masheer at av,only a couple of inches long,this is a vid of older fish on youtube,they turn bluish with very blue fins,mine have no colour yet but feeding well,one of the smaller masheer ,just getting to about 2 feet

they came in as neolissocheilus stracheyi,other names seem to be tor stracheyi,blue tor,blue masheer,blue kelah.hoping its the blue ones.have you seen red masheer for sale in ireland Andrew? or any other types?

they,ve grown an inch or so,probably 3 or 4 times the weight ,feeding great,now in with the pheonix barbs and lemon fins ,will try and get some pics,had to move a 16" gibbiceps out of their tank as it was biting scales of the pheonix barbs that are well over a foot now.pheonix barbs are mad feeders,eatin all sorts of pellets and huge quantitys of duckweed and pond elodea stalks and all
