Corydoras in the Amazon

Seen this before it is fab to watch

I counted 28.

I did see a big shoal of corys on my trip to the Amazon last year, we caught some of them and it turned out to be a new specie of cory. I tried to film the shoal but the water was to cloudy/murky.

Now that's something i'd love to do a trip for collecting fish, outstanding Would love to see some pics of the trip if you have any ?

I was very lucky to do the Amazon trip and best yet I had as guide Heiko Bleher. I have around 200 photos uploaded on my Photobucket account: arabu1973, in the folder Amazon 2011, it has subfolders for everyday of the trip. The trip that I was on will be published in Heiko's new book DISCUSBOOK03 that will come out hopefully this month.

Sadly no, we only caught 2 of them which had to be put down and sent to be studied and named, its a long story how its done but hey I can say that me and Heiko caught it plus 16 other new species. I'm curious to see the new book, it has few photos of me in it too plus Heiko gave me the honour of naming one of the lakes

A dream came true there .Looks like your the main man to ask about breeding and care of the corys then .

Dont worry i cant wait neither. At the moment Heiko is in Ukraine for a seminar but i'll send him an email later this week to find out if there are any news on the book.
