That's my thoughts bought two yesterday , pulling my hair out over snails

the ones i had went from 2"-7" in 3 years, had to get rid of them because it wasn't fair keeping them in a 120L considering the room they need, but are honestly 1 of my favourite fish and they love snails

Nice purchase kelly. Whats in tank with them ?

the wee buggers are in all the bloody plants, when they are done in that tank i'll revolve them

nice video i saw some 14 inch ones in the london zoo aquairium earlier this year. Just watch your shrimps they might like them as they eat anything that can fit in mouth.

As long as they keep eating the snails won't mind some shrimp going missing have 100's of them

the loaches will think they are in fish heaven with all the gourmet food lol

They will alright they have another 7 tanks to do

just don't feed them and they'll hunt out the snails in no time

Nice fish, I love these the tank in the vid is too small for them loach I reckon you'd be looking for something around the 6ft mark with wave makers for current they really do need a long tank. That's why I had to get rid of mine. I never could keep plants with them they just uproot everything.

Mine are only about 2" when they get to big, i'll chance them for small ones they are more cute, bought another two today. They make some noise when they are happy munching

your making me jealous lol. yip they click away when they're happy. I think it's something to do with teeth in the back of their throat.

Yeh, they have been doing some clicking , gonna buy another load of them for the other tanks now as well, have took a real liking to them

I'd love to set up a tank for them, hopefully someday. Keep us posted on how these go.

What shrimp do you have? Will be wanting something new in the new year when I eventually get round to my new aquascape that I am planning :)
