Wanted to share this vid of a recent fight between two of my cichlids, it was described as 'as bad as dog fighting' on a facebook page. Just wanted opinions. The cichlids I keep are hyper aggressive and fight for all sorts of reasons, but mainly over territories. Most of the time I let it go so far in the hope they sort it out. They were split up in the end and are alive and well. A lot of people don't realise how violent these fights are, just wanted to share.

Thanks for sharing paul havent seen many vids with as good quality picture. That umbee did very well considering the size of the red devil.

I separated them in the end Kelly...

Yeah lee went on a bit, the devil eventually backed down , but umbee wouldn't let it go. Cichlids and their grudges eh. wink
