My revamped Reef Tank - using Red Sea additives
Hi all! Just want to share some pictures of my revamped reef tank. Going from all soft corals to soft & a few hard corals.
Up till then was letting things be pretty much so all parameters not great almost whole back tank covered with coralline too...so I spent a lot of time to get it off with some paint scrapers; few days to be exact and its still not all gone yet!
Using Nopox got parameters down to acceptable levels and stuck a montipora frag in there. After few weeks after seeing it grown; got some other frags( before scrapping off more coralline again!!). Praying hard & fingers crossed the corals will be fine! Not dosing any colour supplement yet as want to let the corals settle down first.
These pictures are taken roughly 3 weeks after introducing them into the tank. Appreciate all advice and comments. Thanks for looking.
A montipora digitata
Montipora confusa
Pair of acroporas (one of them a acro millepora I belief)
Montipora plating frag
Bird nest coral
An almost full tank shot
Some shots with just blue light and LEDs

This is class andrew , the hard corals make a huge difference. Have you noticed any phosphate changes or nasty algae growth after the sudden removal of all that coraline algae? Also is your birds nest coral a pocillopora coral?? If it is give it great care as they are some of the nicest corals out there IMO. All around a great setup man, you are even keeping a scallop in there. Thats a achievement in its self

Thanks folks. I will update this with more pictures and videos soon.
@ Paul I had a cyno outbreak alright when nitrates went to 0. But after few days tank cleared up again as it tries to balances itself.
