This was my juwel 180 marine before I upgraded (upgraded pictures to follow). Just a simple set-up with the berlin system; skimmer; live rock and external cannister.

Last picture one of my favourites; but didnt last long in my set up hence the upgrade.

Thanks Paul; I upgraded to a larger set-up when I saw that the water parameters just would not allow for any hard corals to thrive; the nitrates and phosphates were giving me a big headache.

Running zeovits on the larger tank and has just recently noticed some sps frags I put in 'growing'. Dare not celebrate prematurely yet but sure I will post some pictures of it soon enough!

p.s. was gutted my dendronephthya only lasted few weeks together with the sun coral it was attched to :(
anyway have learnt that some corals are just not meant for starting out; need tank to mature fully at 6 months thereabouts.
