Re: Synodontis angelicus
I'm the same just waiting on them coming up here again at a half decent price.
Re: Synodontis angelicus
+1 Im the same i wont pay over a hundred or anything like it for a tank bred pleco regardless of species, At the end of the day its nothing but 100% profit for the breeder so asking for mental prices is not on

There was ones going here about a year ago £50 each for young tank bred, should have bought them then
Re: Synodontis angelicus
Ye thats what you want a small group of them Id say you would be a good while waiting on the pair alone to do anything

I usually just take the headstaggers and go and get whatever i'm looking for
Re: Synodontis angelicus
I have two lovely wild caught Angelicus. Not as expensive as you think, mine were about 3 inches when I bought them for around 50 Euro each.
They are the black/yellow variant rather than black/white.
I have heard horror stories of them becoming hyper dominant when they get especially large but my guys are well behaved (for now)
I also have a large wild caught Syno Decorus that I bought at the same time and he is far more aggressive.

Re: Synodontis angelicus
Got him in seahorse, I was after them for ages and John very nicely got them in from the Congo for me. They were around the 50 Euro mark so pricey but not *too* expensive.
