The Dublin shops are fantastic for locating plecs. I got my scoby in seahorse, he's a good 6 or 7 inches in size. They had some more in stock a couple of weeks ago too. wink

Nice fish; hmm thought I saw this bout 2 weeks ago in seahorse; was it the same fish guys? There were several and prices were so reasonable I almost snapped one up! doh Prob all gone now...

If it was the same it was going for around 60 euros? probably not them if price is too low; they looked very similiar though but Im not really into plecos so had no clue at all! :(

p.s. sizes were all roughly 4 -5inches

Ah id say that was them alright wink Seems fair compared to the 9" one i saw going for 200, and it was going for 200 not sure if he got that wink

They looked super in real life too; but I only went for some dry goods supplies and tried not to look at any livestock yep 'tried'

Wonder if for these plecos people keep together with africans?

You could try, i know some species will tolerate a higher ph more than others. People put there common plecs in. Id say it would be a expensive experiment, i had a candy stripe in with mine but he did die awhile after. Cant be sure it was the ph but still
