Not great pics but had to wait on him popping out to catch him any ideas on him would be great to get it narrowed down

Im quiet sure its not a queen L177 pos. L018/L085 all under the Baryancistrus xanthellus umbrella... but L177 have bigger spots esp. when young... hard to tell tho without knowing location of collection etc

Nice one kelly I notice there color is slightly faded. Could just be that there only introduced, but from what iv learned with a few of mine is. The higher the ph the more dull there color became. I got the ph down in my plec tank and the transformation was unreal, no comparison in color

Yeh that was a few hours after he went in he wasn't a happy bunny he went nearly white, but he's fine now showing nice colours. The plecs are all in there temp until I get the Dublin tank cleared then they will have a set up all to themselves and maybe a few guppies or something

Nice one kelly, also keep in mind some of these plecs are very aggressive as in territorial. They can do some damage to each other to believe it or not thats the right idea to, fill the tank with little fish to keep the eyes busy, everyones happy

Yeh had a couple of problems just with the bristlenose males bumping each other of a few years back, lesson learnt. Plenty of tanks to seperate them if hassle starts. The nugget will probably end up down in the big tank anyway with the Royal eventually
