love the megladoras in the last vid, with the toothed lateral line.i have a close cousin oxydoras niger (ripsaw catfish) which has the same toothed like lateral line, its generally a friendly big cat just eats pellets etc but has ripped gashes maybe 3" long and quite deep in other cats thet have maybe annoyed it ,each toth looks to be over a quater inch long, fish is a bit over 2 feet now.id think netting this fish now would need to be done carefully.

thanx lee, other predators are mainly catfish rtc,rtc x tsn, marble cats, silver arowana, dovii and jag.also got some peacock bass growing out they range from 6" to over a foot and growing quick, they are serious quick predators, slamming their grub hard splashing water out all over the fish house.the ripsaw is still growing quite fast,is starting to get very thick, should get well over 3 foot

I would say feeding time is some buzz. I seen a few clips of the peacock bass feeding and one was swallowing an Oscar not much smaller than itself they are beasts. Trying time get my hands on a jag as I think there crackers.

jags have great character, got a we one growing out bout 8",hiding less now and being more assertive with the other fish.lost my other jag which was about 14" after i think it hurt itself and became rtc breakfast, was a great fish with big staring red eyes, one of my favourite cichlids i have looked after.grosvenor trops had a couple of we jags a fortnight ago
