Cheers Ger . They get up to 22" in a tank put some reports of 28 plus in wild. I will have yo start the custom build soon

Jbl novo stick xl mostly but also frozen bloodworm and cichlid mix , beefheart, nls .

i have a jag just about 8"-9" eats pellets, worms ,lumps of fish,whitebait, prawns not very fussy,they will eat any fish that fits in there huge mouths.in the central american lakes they inhabit their main job is keeping down the convict population.grew the last one from about 3"-14" in less than 2 years,he hurt himself a while back and was swimming about like he was dazed and the rtc swallowed him,bye bye jag.my new one is starting to fill out and starting to look gud.they are a spectacular cichlid when bigger,male should grow 18" handy enough.
