Yeah a young male, only 4" or so, can get as big as 18-20". The biggest of the Midas family.

Just the one ..on the look out for a female in a few months. Have alota big aggressive central and south Americans just now. So my tank count is mounting up lol. Really gota stop looking.

Yeah no worries on a butti looking after him self, can be ruthless at times. That argentea is a bit of a bully ,was ruling the roost for a while, but the la ceiba has just dethroned him lol. Getting separated shortly.

Yeah really like the la ceiba Paul. I moved on the argentea to a mate with 1200l and he had every fish stuck in one corner.

I wouldn't doubt it, ..just now moved mine, la ceiba near put him out if the tank, water everywhere lol. hes rooming with a umbee until tomorrow, divider up and hopefully it holds.
