What sort of size are they hitting sexual maturity at Paul ? Have you heard of anyone breeding them before I thought they would have been quite hard to get going

Not exactly sure kelly, they say males reach 10" or so and females 8" or so, and that there has bin reports of them spawning at half that size. My largest male (i believe to be male) is only around the 4" mark now so.......
Something new and with a bit of a challenge thumbs up

That's my thoughts Something new and with a bit of a challenge, going to have a break from the malawi's for a wee while and concentrate on the plecos for a bit. Just need to get my show tank finished, hopefully I'll pick up some nice sub adult/adult pairs of malawis up while on the trip to finish it

Nice one kelly yep Id love to have more tank space to try at another species as well but not this year by the looks of it. Serratus's shop looks to be hit before its even opened , so no doubt you will leave with something tasty

Hopefully there will be plenty to choose from I'm planning on filling the car if possible laugh I would really love to get the show tank finished now, and get a good lot of plecos for the new tank but i'm wanting to try and buy them all in pairs, or if not pairs very small so I can afford to get good size groups of them

There wasn't much room for the guys in the back the last time, they couldn't even see each other or put there feet on the ground. Might need some room in Fra's motor there isn't much room in that one of mine, new I should have bought an estate tongue
